Hello, I am Peter Lounsbury.  I live in the Niagara Region of Southern Ontario, Canada.  Photography is a hobby that my wife Audrey and I really enjoy.  We will share with you some of the pictures that we take on our travels.  I graduated from Niagara College, through the Continuing Education Creative Arts Program, for photography.  As for equipment we use Canon camera bodies with a mixture of Canon and Sigma lenses; the flashes that we use are from Canon as well.  For the times we use a tripod we use Manfrotto tripods and ball heads.

Most of the pictures here are from the Niagara Region.  It is amazing what you can find in your own backyard when you start to look.  There are many wonders out there, in our own areas, that we take for granted.  When living in one area it becomes everyday, and we start to look past some of the wonders of life around us.  As the saying goes, and Audrey is always telling me, "You have to stop and smell the roses."

Photography has made me realize that we need to look at the beauty that is around us and not look at the negative.  Every now and than I need a kick to get back to that idea.  Whether you live in the city or the county beauty is all around us; we just need to slow down and take a look.  So please don't let us tourists, with camera in hand, disturb you too much.  On that note maybe it is time to stop and smell the roses.  Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your visit.
